I was somewhat surprised at the low prices some of the tags went for. Someone got a great deal on a Deseret bull for $7200. Boulder premium did go for $25500. No surprise that John Mogle won a gun and the best hunt of the night(a sheep hunt).

John Mogle is a heck of a nice guy, but I would have liked to have seen that Dall Sheep hunt go to a "regular Joe"; someone who otherwise would never have been able to go on a hunt like that.

I'm not surprised. The economy has a lot of guys spooked.
My guess is the draw odds in all states that make you pay up front will be a bit better this year as well.
