I helped a good buddy of mine on this hunt. He started hunting Sept. 15 and killed this goat in the Nachess Pass area the first week of Oct. He hunted hard and was very selective. He seen over 200 goats and passed a few good ones because of there location. This one's horns measure 9 inches with 5 1/2 inch bases.

He owns and operates Summit Creek Taxidermy in Mineral Wa. The coat was just as important to him as a god set of horns since He plans on doing a life size mount I will follow up with Pics of the mount.

The coat on my goat was just as important to me as well. I shot a 13 yr old Billy that only had 9" horns and I could care less. The life size mount with long hair is awesome. By far one of my favorite mounts.
