REALLY??? My friend I am not a bow hunter. But come on guys look at how wussified we have become. Whoever shot this deer wanted to kill this deer(I know there are a holes). People miss, animals move, equipment fails, etc. But I doubt the dude who shot this deer thought perhaps I will just wound it. Gentlemen, we try to ethical, we try to kill clean, we hate to torture some animal, BUT cancel a hunt? Create a new regulation? Tell me what will this deer look like after it is hit by a car? Caught by a dog? Coyote? Fence? How will he look after a big winter? It is too bad he is wounded but get real, if you don't like hunting or hunters this won't change your opinion. Yes it would be nice for KSL to show the carnage up the canyons on the highways, or coyotes torturing deer, but they didn't. Finally, if you live up on the bench and you have a problem with deer, or deer hunting, MOVE!!! YOUR THE PROBLEM, not the deer or the hunter. If your house is on a lake you can't ##### about water, if its on a airport runway, you better like planes. If you had to show how much money you can waste to build up on the hill, you WILL HAVE DEER and all that comes with it, coyotes, cougars, hunters, shrub damage, road kill, etc. This year i started taking my 4 yr old hunting with me. We killed ducks, geese, swans, rabits, etc., and everytime I showed him the holes blown in things, blood, guts etc, not to be cruel but so he can see what we do, what a weapon will do, and so he doesn't think killing(yes we hunt but we do kill) is a video game. Too bad for the deer, whoever shot it try harder next time, but don't be SO DAMN DRAMATIC, it is a deer with an arrow sticking out of it, not the end of the world.
