What are good antelope private land tags going for?

What are most ranches in New Mexico charging for their landowner tags for a reasonable chance at a 80"+ speed goat? What if that number was bumped up to say 85"? Thats a tall order, but there's places that seem to do it on a fairly regular basis. I am mostly just curious if the landowner tag route is within my budget for the next few years.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-03-11 AT 12:14PM (MST)[p]I have heard some paying as much as 4k for a place that consistently does mid and upper 80's. Seems way crazy to me. Tags on good ranches will be in the $1500 and up range. A fair ranch will run $1000 and up. I've seen some wait for last minute deals and do well. This will be an interesting year due to changes in the A Plus system. Jim
