What Caliber??

I am thinking about having a go at building a semi-custom rifle with the help of a local gunsmith. I want something for Black/Grizzly/Brown Bear, Elk, Moose as well as something for african plains game. Which would you guys build on a remington action...(obviously I have a longer rage caliber in mind).

375 RUM
338-378 Wby Mag

I presume you've probably already made your mind since you've been looking at each one of them for some time now.

Let me guess, a 375 H&H (though not the list) on Pre 64 action. A real classic and nostalgic. It'll make you feel like you're Pete Hathaway Capstick, Robert Ruark and some the famous PH of the past.

Appreciate all of your opinions! I am leaning towards the 338 or 375 RUM. It is interesting, I have heard a lot concerning how a good handloader can get a lot more out of the 338 RUM as far as velocity, long range performance and accuracy than what Remington claims.
