When will the 1st big snow fall happen

When do you think the first big snow fall will happen this year that will impact the fall hunting season.
My guess is third week of OCT. Oct 18th

I like a good snow fall, it gets the critter out and moving. Seems like it a bit on the warm side now for beginning of October, and the forecast for next ten days doesnt show much cooler temps. I'll be in Idaho from October 9th to 19th, hope we get something! Good luck!

Gator, that's our 2nd day in SE Idaho for my moose hunt. I hope for some snow but nothing deep. 2"-4" would be perfect.

Yes and Minnesota got some yesterday, But it didn't stick.
1st big snow fall that sticks for more then a day or day.

Best start getting out that cold weather gear.
