Let’s say it’s opening morning of your early high country hunt in Colorado. You have nothing better located and 7 days to hunt. Are you shooting either buck? If so, which one?

My old eyes need another pic of the bottom buck, with his head turned a bit. I would likely shoot either. The one that gave me the best shot opportunity.

I'd be happy with either buck, but if they were both available for the shot I'd pick the top buck. I like the look of it better. Nothing wrong with the bottom buck, however, and I'd be pretty stoked to bring either home.

If I have a elk tag in my pocket, probably neither.
Kill bucks for heads, elk for meat!
I have screwed that up a couple times.

I would take either buck on the opening day of any tag I ever drew. I prefer the vertical reach of the first buck.

With the option, bottom buck. But I'm not picky. Whichever one shows up first would get a hole punched through his lungs!

I'd shoot the top buck.
If I located either of these bucks.....or their little brothers I'd be pulling the trigger.

Both are great bucks to me. The more I go back and look at the pictures, the better each of them looks. Either buck would be proudly displayed on my wall.
