Which Video Camera.

I'm surprised you haven't had any responses yet.
Do you need HD?
What is going to be your delivered product?
Is your editing hardware and software capable to handle HD?
Probably more questions for you, but enough for now.
I had used Canon camcorders for years until this year. I'm now using a Panasonic dvx100b, standard definition mini dv and am very happy with it.
I didn't see a reason to get a HD camcorder though.

The XH-A1 is wonderful! When downloading to a computer it will switch from HD to regular format. I have no complaints with this camera is it is a great combination of the GL2 and Xl1S all in one. I would highly recommend it. Can easily attach wireless mics and the shotgun mic. Good luck!
