Why the late muzzy dates 3 Corners Elk?

Saw the dates for the muzzy hunt in Northslope/3 Corners is 10/28- 11/5. Seems pretty late.

No early rifle ( any weapon ) hunt in the 3 corners either...

Has to do with the fact this elk herd moves free'ly between
Utah 3 corners, Wyoming unit 32 and Colorado unit 201 ......
Rifle hunts on all three units,in all three states open Oct.1st.

Archery hunting only durning September in Wyoming and colorado..
The Utah guys get screwed with archery hunt ending September 11th,
Wyo and Colorado get the whole month of Sepember...........

There-for, The Utah muzzy hunt gets pushed back.
