You're being watched

Saw this critter while elk hunting down in 36. It was walking past me and I stopped it with a squeek on the cow call, had time to pull out the camera. It was a slick healthy cat, didn't look real big.

Here's a zoomed in version.

Pretty rare sighting, only my 2nd seen in wild, and happy I got pics, even if they are a bit fuzzy. It got bored after 5 minutes, walked off and spooked a herd of elk up ahead of me.

That's a great shot. Pretty rare to see a cat, let alone stop him and get it on film.
