Can anybody tell me if there has been sightings of wolves in Utah? How recenet and where? Isnt the state planning on introducing them here in the next few years?
about 2 years ago some guy trapped a Yellowstone wolf in Morgan county while trying to trap coyotes and foxes. DWR picked it up and took it back to yellowstone after giving it some time to heal its leg. If i remember correct they said that there were two sets of tracks,and they never found the other Wolf.
Yes. There have been a few sightings in the Cache Valley area. I wolf was sighted in Spring Hollow and in Blacksmith Fork Canyon. Idaho Fish and Game were down there last year checking out wolves that were tracked to the area.
