Well The time has come for my 12b muzz hunt, the bags are packed and the truck is loaded and i will be leaving in two days.I will be doing this hunt on my own and i can hunt the whole week.I have done as much homework as i can and plan to hunt hard and with a little luck i will be able to be successful.

Any reports on the first rifle hunt.Any last minute help would be much appreciated.

Glen,

You should be in for a great hunt. I had the early tag that ended yesterday. The rut is just starting and we seen a lot of deer on the north end of the unit near the utah border.. The HoneyMoon trail was loaded with deer and the new burn area with all the old clear cuts will be good place too start. Good luck.

Jdh do you know a young man from country named Josh Cluff?Have you been on the winter road latly? Are the roads through oderville good up to Joes res.?Thanks mav.

My wife and I just got back from the early 12B hunt. As the previous post indicates, the rut was starting up and there were deer everywhere up north. I shot a 185" typical 4x4, and my wife shot a small 4x4. Mine was hot on a doe's tail when I got him. Just watch the does patiently and good things should happen.

Maverickcurs, I do know Josh. Haven't been on the winter road lately, my bro. was on it a week or so ago and didn't see anything. I spent all of my time up near the state line.. All the roads were in good shape, and I didn't have any problems getting around.

Cavetomb, congrates on a great buck!! any Pics?
