Anybody got the latest news on idaho bouns points. last i herd the comtioners were meeting in jan.

Nothing new is right. One similar to Nevada's is what they are considering most, but with most of the public not wanting to fund it, they are also considering a system that would give each unsuccessful applicant an extra point "name in the hat" the following year, giving you two chances the following year. This system would not be the type which you accumulate a point each year, you'd get one with an unsuccessful application, but that one is all you would see. You would NOT get one point every year, just that one so you would never have more than 2 "names in the hat". This system would cost F&G no extra $$$. The other thing they are strongly considering, and if I had to guess they will go to, is longer wait periods after being successful.

I like the idea of unsucessful aplicants getting a better chance the next year. that sounds good to me, but i think they should leave the waiting period the same after you draw.
