I haved fished the Fort Peck Reservoir before and am considering archery Deer. Wondering how much pressure the area recieves and quality of hunt, not necessarily the size but the numbers of deer there. Also is it possible to pack in a ways and make small camp or is the area crowded. North or south side?

Any help or opinions greatly appreciated

You will get to enjoy it with 20,000 of your best friends. Archery hunting out there is circus. Doesn't matter north side, south side.

Every year the numbers increase. You can camp anywhere on public land. That area is loved to death. Unlimited bow permits out there for resident and non residents.

There will be guys who say I am wrong but it get worse every year. You can find pockets of solitude but you will have to out work everyone else to find them and get to them.

Just my opinion.
