Boise Front Late archey hunt

Anyone who knows the boise front could be of help. My dad has drawn this tag. Now heres the story he has diabetes and has lost the feeling in one of his feet so he cant do much hiking. We have talked to a couple of people and they have mentioned highland valley and rocky canyon. I have bird hunted in both places and havent seen much for deer. It is a wintering ground though. Any info would help. Thanks

have you been in there in december? the deer are thick in there. i would be in that same area. go there, you'll find deer for sure. good luck. tb

Do you know anyhting about Rocky Canyon? They have posted most of the land and pretty much closed half of the area from highland valley to 8th street.

i have not hunted that hunt so i dont know the exact boundaries, but i have been up in there filming deer that time of year up the highland valley road and they are everywhere. expecially in december. i know its not a big area but everyone i know that has hunted it gets into bucks all day long. you'll have fun. t
