Glenwood Springs taxidermist suggestions

Howdy all,

Was wondering if any of you had a suggestion for a taxidermist in the GLenwood Springs or Grand Junction area? Would like to have something lined up if I am successful on my 4th season hunt. All suggestions are appreciated.
Good luck on the 3rd season and leave a couple for me.

Give Barrett a call at Grand Mesa Wildlife art. He is located just outside of GJ in the town of Mesa.

He is a great guy and a great hunter. The quality in his mounts is unsurpassed in this local area.

I took the loper I took this year to him and I plan on taking the 200" buck I plan on killing this weekend (fingers crossed)to him also.

Check out Slim's taxidermist. He did a good job on my elk and deer. He's between Carbendale and G. Springs.

Thanks for the tips..........I'll give both suggestions a call.I too am hoping to bag a big buck again and don't want to be chasing my tail looking for a reputable taxidermist. I should have asked this question last year before the trip. Colorado just keeps getting better and better.

I wouldn't use Slim even if he did it for next to nothing. He was too bust to cape out a head of mine last year. Then he had the nerve to give me a couple of cards to refer him.
