I was looking at a guide and he said that he hunted in unit 65 in CO. I can't find any statistics on the CO dept of wildlife website on unit 65 or on huntodds.com. It goes from unit 64 to 66. I have found the same situation on other units as well; how come? I'm not asking any advice on certain units, just a general question here. Thanks

For deer, 64 is 65. I you have a deer tag in 64 you can hunt 64 or 65.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-13-07 AT 03:51PM (MST)[p]So, as stated above, to find out your odds of DRAWING, look at the statistics for unit 64.

However, if you are interested in how many people hunted in unit 65 and what percent were successful, click on the link below, then go down to harvest for 2005. Looks like it had a good success ratio for that year. 57% for all rifle seasons and 57% for muzzy season.

Thanks for all the quick responses; ya'll were alot of help to this ol' Texas hick.

I hunted 64/65 this past yr 3rd season & it was one of the most frusterating hunts I've ever been on. All private land except for a couple of small places here & there overrun with other hunters. The guy I went with that supposedly knew the area didn't know anything at all. I was VERY lucky to get the buck I got. Anyways, good luck!
