Yeah I am new but I just wanted to see what people thought he scored because I know what he scores. Well here is the story behind this deer. It was opening morning last year of rifle season. We had watched this buck for several months and had his movements almost perfectly calculated. Me and my brothers in law set up in this draw that we watched him come up every morning. Well this particular morning was a little different. As daylight broke and we were in legal shooting light we started to glass the haymedow that these deer were always in. NOTHING!! So we made another plan that we would walk a few more draws to see if we could find him and NOTHING!! So we decided we were going to walk back to the truck and run to the neighbors to see if we could hunt his land in the afternoon because this buck was back and forth all the time between places. Well as we are driving down the road we see him on my father in laws land down by an irrigation canal. So we stopped the pickup and I walked off the road and crawled underneath the fence and into an irrigation ditch in the field. I took aim and shot him from 350 yds. This was in Eastern Montana. The buck is 29 inches wide and is a 7x6.

Merry Christmas 227 and WELCOME TO MM. Looks pretty nice either way , I'd say he is right in the 165-170 area. He is dang sure a nice buck that I'd love to have. Maybe in January something like that will let me draw back and loose an arrow eh...wishful thinking= success , sounds good to me....Any how , again welcome and thanks for sharing it...

Well had him scored by b&c scorer and he scored 191. I was pretty impressed with him so I cannot complain. Will be something to try and beat from one year to the next. But in my area of Montana there are not alot of monster muleys where I am at. Now monster whities they are all over the place. Missed a GIANT whitie this year. Shot a 21in whitetail 5x5 but he will be bigger next year. Happy Holidays to everyone.
