has anybody hunted that area we use to hunt and do good there back in the 90's right around the lake and on the other side we havent been there since 92 just wondering how is there now sure would like to it again. my dad really loved that place and fishing was great to thank' the turtle

They still take a lot of smaller bucks, but it is not very often that you see a big mature buck. Sure a few get taken here and there, but overall I think the overall size and number of mature bucks is way down.

Yep, nothing on Fishlake at all.

In fact the elk hunting is no good either! I would probably just stay away all together!

I heard the fishing sucks too!

We took a 30 inch 3 point and a 26 inch 4 point off that unit about 10 years ago. Haven't hunted it much since. Some of the pretties country I've ever hunted though. Not known for an abundance of monster bucks.

My family has property close to fishlake so I grew up hunting and fishing all around that area. Each year it seems like there are fewer and fewer big bucks. I haven't seen enough big buck around that area recently to put in for a NR tag. Every winter there are a few good sheds pick up, but not like years ago.
