All,
My father recently found out that after many years of trying, was drawn for the 13A rifle hunt(middle of November). We are currently looking at getting a guide to help us find a muley worthy of the tag.

Any suggestions/recommendations?

Thank you in advance for the help.

There are a few good guides and a lot of folks

who think they are. Try calling Ryan Hatch at Muley Crazy

muleycrazy.com . He will help you.

I have hunted with Johnny Casner with arizona high country outfitters a couple of times and its been great. His web site azhighcountry.com

Another good guide that Ryan Hatch likes is Alvey Johnson of Johnson Brothers Guide Service. He lives in Fredonia, so 13A is in his backyard.

Travis;

I haven't left yet, had to get my truck repaired.

Exhaust manifold broke clear in two.

I'm still trying to get out of town.

I've bought ice twice already!

Alvey drives a blade out there as well, they have had some great success in the past and you wont find a nicer guy.

Duwane Adams is a great guy and knows that unit well. I did camera work for him last year during the last hunt and they killed a couple of 180-190 inch bucks and a monster 195 typical.

I have personally hunted with both Don Martin and Alvey Johnson and they are both top notch guides and fun to hunt with. Good luck on the hunt!

The Bundy boys work cattle all over the unit and Alvey works for the county running the blade.Both are the best on the strip.None of the others are any where near as good.I catch lions on the strip for most of Dec and Jan and see these guys there all the time.
