Hey everybody went out to look at some bucks doing there thing, thought I would post some pics.

They are starting to rut, this guy was checking a doe.

I got on these two when I saw one of them drop down into the wash so I snuck over there just in time for the bigger of the two to push the smaller one back out less than 20 yards away.
He was pissed at this guy for some reason he would lay his ears back and spit at him, the first pic is of him spiting and chargeing at him.
I dont know why he was so mad there wasnt any does in sight. :)

This guy had good mass big brow's and huge fronts, his horns look kind of like a basket the way they swoop in at the top.

This guy is pretty good, he has HUGE ears, and he looked alot bigger in person than these pics are makeing him look, Big fronts, this guy will be a dandy next year I think.

Nice pics man. Nothing like a swollen up, tree-trunk necked, ruttin mulie. Hunt #####-a-rilla needs to bend over and enjoy it from one of those studs.

Not a new one, Im pretty sure its the same dude, think about it, Hunt_Rez, Hunt_Jicarilla, why would they both have the _ in there name and still say the same thing.

I love the pic of the buck spitting. I've noticed, whether there are does around or not, bucks don't put up with each other right now.

Na his shoes have laces, there actually is a nice kid that lives out in the basin that has the same problem you do (He has a hard time with the English language also.). Jake being the nice guy that he is tutors the kid and all he asks in return is that the kid ties his shoes for him. Hey it sounds like you are an expert at tying shoes maybe he will hook you up with some lessons.

hey jakeh thanks for the pictures. i was in that same area and must have just missed ya. i know i seen probably half of those bucks. dont listen to those other idiots. they dont know what fun is. im gonna make a yearly trip out there now even when i dont have a tag. thanks again for helping me out.
 
WOW this is why i dont post much on here anymore! Jake those are some sweet pics! anyone who disagrees is just ignorant. they are the ones that give hunters a bad name. They are the ones only after the horns and probably care less about the meat and leave half of it behind when they shoot a buck. If you dont have a respect for all wildlife big and small why hunt, and they take for granted that we live in such an amazing country that we can go out and see deer like these when ever we want. so to the pricks who thought it was a waste of their time to look at these pics, might as well be a comunist or towl head!!

Yup that why we get to hunt almost all over the state and now we 2 buck and bull tags. One for the rez and the other for state land that take white guys 12+ years to draw we hunt every year. U guys only wish u could hunt the southern ute. Or ute moutain, But i know some of u poach on the northern ute. Why does it always have to come to race. Sounds like sure hate "natives" on this site.

Looks like you seen some nice bucks they are not monsters but hey who cares. All that matters is that you like them and if other people do great. But dont listen to broken arrow or what ever his indian name is lol. nice bucks though.

I have got no problem with "natives". What I do have a problem with is ignorant people and people who live off of government hand outs. Unfortunately Hunt_Jicarilla falls into both categories. And judging by your last post you and him might be in the same boat.

Does each LE tag come with a lifetime supply of vanilla? Or does the gov't supply that as well?
 
Tell me... What makes you anymore native American than I am? You all have some mexican, black and white mixed in over the years..
I think the handouts are bs, The land to hunt to yourselves is bs.
I say take it all away, Quit throwing money at them and make them be contributing citizens then you have some room to talk. If your not gonna do that then stay off of our government programs! Your a sovereign nation right? Support your own people!

Anyone that disagrees go drive through a reservation and you will know what I'm talking about. Everything is a run down pos, Vehicles, houses, government buildings.... Or go to work with one.. wait you cant they dont work!

Hey guys thanks for the good responses, but I dont want to turn this into a indian bashing, some of my best friends are native and there are alot of really good ones out there, there are alot of DumbAzz white people out there to, you see examples of that all the time on this site.

Good ol'Hunt_Rez is one of the $hit stirers around here and he gets his rocks off by makeing us mad, just ignore his dumb azz comments and he will go away or stop his BS.

Utehunter is a stand up guy, although he dose defend his people when he thinks they are being viewed in a negitive light and I dont blame him for it ether.

I will be sure to post somemore pics in the near future when I make it back out there, hopefully I will fin a toad to show you all.

I may come off as a a hole or a douche but it's just me razzin people.... I too am here to have a good time and look at big stuff. Little bucks are cool because as everyone knows giants aren't always giants. This whole thing just got blown WAY out of proportion. I understand there is alot of hate towards Natives and that will never change. I also know Natives that don't give white people a chance. Me and utehunter spend alot of time in the field and if any of you have seen our posts we see alot and find some bug stuff. I don't want to be the guy that fuels your hate for natives. If JakeH is big enough man to stand up for what is right I guess I can say I'm sorry for hijacking his thread. If you are down with the redman you are ok in my book

As for the pics, JakeH thanks for sharing buddy. I enjoy seeing pics like that, don't matter if the bucks huge or not. Nothing better in my opinion then taking pictures when you can't hunt 'em. Thanks again!
 
Great photos JakeH. I always apprciate the live photos of animals and the difficulty in getting them. I believe it sometimes takes more time and effort to get a good photo than it does to harvest an animal.
