Does he have velvet on his antlers yet?

I was just in Colorado and one of the guys got one that was still 3/4 in velvet third season. Yes he had his nuts.

LAST EDITED ON Nov-14-09 AT 11:16PM (MST)[p]Utah buck. Canon EOS 10 Digital. Sigma 70-300mm lense. I would guess he was about 100 yards, give or take a few.

He has a couple of strings of velvet hanging off his rear tines. He is clean other than those strings. Rutting hard.

Camera extends my hunting season for another 6 weeks. Great time of year to be on the mountain. Pretty much alone other there now.
