I just called and spoke with a very friendly and polite lady (which is always nice to get with any government agency these days!) who told me that both I and my son now have 0 deer points. Best news I've had this year!

How many points did you have going into the draw? I had 3 as a non-resident and now I have 4. No Unit 70 third season tag for me. I guess I am just unlucky or I was the victim of point creep.

My son didn't draw 70 third season - NR with 3 points. He should be pretty much guaranteed next year with 4 points though. My other son will have 3 points next year and might have a chance. I hunted last year so just points for me this year.

Non-Resident - 5 points. I'm sure it was overkill. Four points should have been plenty. I just wanted a good hunt this year since I didn't have much chance of drawing anything in other states. With the later dates I just couldn't resist.

I had 7, which I now is more then I needed. I would have been border line for 4th, but I wanted to be sure I was going this year and had been told that the 3 rd may be as good or better anyway. I guess we will see. I looked at a few different choices and talked to a few people and this seemed to be as good as most.

How do you know if you drew or not drew on backdoor? It has a number beside application. Which one is draw and which one is not draw? Does that make sense?

I would say that you didn't draw.....but it still list deer app 491 on the left side and the 591 is on the right

491 Non-Resident on the LEFT SIDE.....nothing on the right side. Did not expect to draw just a long shot, oh well always next year or the year after that or the year after that too..LOL
Might still come to COLO for an OTC Elk hunt.

PP for me looks like I will try and pick up a left over archery tag. Oh well I drew a couple sweet elk tags this year so no complaints after drawing 21 last year. Dad and little bro made out well though. Dad drew 2nd season unit 10 and my bro drew a late season eastern plains tag. Good luck everyone!

Any chance Colorado had a glitch in their system? I should've only had 3 points if I didn't draw this year- my buddy should've had 2, and they told him he now has 3. Anybody else experience this? Hoping I find out that we drew in the end, but I'm not holding my breath.

Yes, the drawing has been done, but not sure if all the back door results are listed. Chances are though if you still have only the 481 code, you didn't draw.
