Well I would hunt Low to start and move up the mountain if you don't find any bucks to shoot down low in the PJ and Sage brush.
Good Luck

Have hunted this unit once during third season. We found alot of sheds so I know the deer winter over in part of this unit. Depending on the snow fall amounts at the higher elevations will effect the amount of deer you will see.
Later in the hunt you will probably see bigger bucks drift in as signs of the rut begin. We did hunt this the year prior to the heavy winter kill so I don't know how well it has rebounded. I would assume the deer numbers are still down.
We did run into alot of elk hunters but didn't see to many elk.
