That buck in the 3rd pic is my REALISTIC dream buck... VERY nice, I am just getting serious about photography and CANNOT wait to get out... very nice work. Would you mind sharing what setup you have and use???

Great photos!!!

Love your pictures. Thanks for sharing. I really like the buck in pic. #11 & #12. It looks like he's missing his left main beam in pic.#12. Did you see him brake it off or are the pics. a fews days apart?

There's always next year

LAST EDITED ON Nov-20-11 AT 10:31AM (MST)[p]Awesome as usual BB. I love to see bucks with necks that are as big as their chests. The mass on the last buck is to die for.

Great pictures as always - thank you for posted.

And I'll 2nd that picture #9 buck - he looks pretty huge and like he's been in a fight or 2 by the looks of his cape.

Fantastic pics!!! What camera and lens are you using to get such awsome color and clarity?

Sorry I am at the computer store where I just purchased a new Mac and so the guy was just showing me how to post photos with my new computer.

I shoot an Olympus E 5 and yes some of those were taken with my expensive lens. When I get home and have some time I will post some more photos and answer the questions ask. Thanks for the nice comments.

Have a good one. BB

For those of you who like mulies with huge necks, here's one that's not too shabby in that light and a few other photos.

I am just going through all the photos I took and trying to learn how to process them on new Mac. It's been difficult for a computer illiterate like myself.

I will try to post a few more tomorrow and then next few days.

Have a good one. BB.

Computer illiterate or not (can identify), the pictures are nothing short of fantastic. Thanks for letting us look at them.

Within the shadows, go quietly.

Speechless! Your photos "take me there".
I miss my annual deer hunting trips to that mountain!!!!

Thanks, Zeke

Well I did this one on my new computer, but it took me forever and I had to come through the back door to get it done. I will continue as time allows and promise to post some more buck photos as I know that's what most want, with the exception of the bucks I photographed. Ha Ha

Have a good one. BB

This one went fast and not quite so backdoorish, but still not the way I want it be, but hopefully soon I will get it figured out and once I do I will post some more photos.

Have a good one. BB

One of my dream bucks right there!

Sit tall in the saddle, hold your head up high, keep your eyes fixed to where the trail meets the sky...

That buck is a stud. There is something about him that is cool.

Also, I really liked the doe pic.

Super pics man! I think I like the one in post number 36 the most. Love the contrasts with the aspen and sage and snow and of course, the monster muley. :)

Awesome, awesome, awesome is all I can say!

What lense is your "Expensive" lense?

How close were you for most of these pics?

I just bought the D7000 and am chomping at the bit to go and take some photos but I am too busy chasing a couple of bucks on the front with my bow right now!

Will be chasing them with the camera in a couple more weeks :)

Most often I take a series of photos of each critter or each scene, but at times I only get one photo. I am sure I have a few more photos of the buck you are referring to.

My expensive lens is a Zukio 90-250 2.8 . That one I have to shoot on a tripod and so I miss a lot of shots, but some come out great when I happen to get them. Many of these were taken with my cheap Zukio and handheld or shot of a monopod.

The Zukio lenses have a crop factor of 4/3 thus the 90-250 is really a 180/500.

Most of these were shot between 30 and 70 yards.

Have a good one BB

BB, Great pictures and thank you for sharing!
In post #35, does that bucks G3 actually go in front of his G4???
