My 11/11/11 Buck Back from Taxidermist

I just brought my Colorado buck back from the taxidermist and wanted to share it with MM. I am thrilled with how it turned out. My Dad and I built the pedestal from some barnwood from my Grandpa's barn. The cedar stump I made from a stump that I yanked out of the ground "Griswold" style. The rest was done by my very favorite taxidermist, Ryan Cook, in South Weber, UT. 801-695-1437

Looks great! I might just have to copy that pedistal/stump idea. The wife really likes it.

Nice mount I love to hunt Colorado. That looks like a Brent Todd print on the wall based on your user name is he Kin of yours? I have some of his work too.

Thank you for the nice comments, guys. I feel like I brought a newborn home- been checking on him all day:)
264- he grosses 194 and netted 189 and change.
Tope- you need to come over and check him out and we can decide how to repeat in WY this year.
Brutus- no relation but I like his stuff.
CS- thanks brother- yes, that is the casing and one other that you can't see as well (insurance shot).

Wow! Phenominal! I like the whole room. Nice touch putting the field picture on the wall next to him. Congrats on a great hunt and great buck!
