I was hoping for some advice on an upcoming scouting trip to the Vernon. I am a non resident and drew the rifle tag. I had a 3 day trip planned as soon as the muzzleloader hunt ended but that plan has been ruined thanks to my son drawing a second chance elk tag in a good area here in Idaho. (I know, terrible problem to have) Will be going now between the bow hunt and Sept 25th but will only have a weekend. Any advice to make the best use of my time while I am there would be greatly appreciated. Any options on a good place to put a trailer during the hunt would be helpful.

I will be out on the 19th and most likely camped by the reservoir, there are quite a few spots by the lake and just past the lake. I will be in a pewter Chevy with a 5th wheel stop in.
