I'm curious how the Paunsaugunt management hunt went this year? I know the new highway fences affected the deer migration last year and I'm wondering how the deer reacted this year and if hunters had any good success?

I would be interested in hearing about this as well. So far I have heard that it was a late migration and the deer are starting to show up within the last 3 days or so.

migration was actually really early this year. Problem was the heat for both the trophy hunt and the management hunt. Deer did not move much. I got lucky and both of my hunters killed good bucks. The management buck was an absolute stud for a management buck. A little cold weather and some rain on the second to last day triggerd the rut and we caught an old buck with one thing on his mind.
