Hey boys got a few questions. My wife and I are going to be down in the Bryce area for a few days next month and I would like to go do a little exploring on the Paunsagaunt. Any suggestions on where to go to have some fun learning new country and maybe seeing some deer would be much appreciated.

My other question is this. What kind of bags do you have on your four wheelers? I just bought a new one and they don't make the ones like I had on my old one. I want something that has a seat in it. Feedback on what has worked well for you?

Thanks guys.

I would head right on out the plateau past Tropic Reservoir. This is a beautiful area with lots of roads and trails to explore. Plus, you should see some deer in the early mornings and late evenings. Good luck

Dont miss the Pink Cliffs overlook!

I harvested an archery buck right there in 1993.

Lots of deer along the river running from the south end the highway on the north. Always a few on Crawford Mtn to look at. That's on the far end of the plateau. Plenty of cool scenery around the cliffs.

Looks like there has been substantial and regular storms rolling thru the last month. Do most of the areas deer summer around Alton or primarily in the forested area East and North of there?

Had the fortune of hunting and harvesting a large buck here a few years back. That top half will hold tons of deer from east to west. You should get to glass 30-40 bucks every morning and night from the seat of your atv. Its crazy because when they migrate that top part turns into a ghost town for deer. You can visually see the trails that they make when they head south and if you can cut em off, I sat and watched over 200 deer in one day work down between two canyons. Awesome scenery!!!
