Just got back from an AMAZING adventure in Sonora. I have dreamed about going down there for years to hunt big bucks. Finally 4 of us decided that it was time to go. We went 4 for 4 on nice Desert Mule Deer. I don't have time to write a bunch right now, but I will let you see some pictures. They tell 1000 words anyway.

Looks like a good time was had by all, congrats and thanx for postin. Lookin forward to the stories.

Damn fine bucks! Looking forward to the story and some stats on those horns. One of those hosses is w i d e !

Damn fine FLEH!
I suspect 4 for 4 on great bucks isn't the norm even for Sonora Mexico.
You're nice to share your success.

Thanks everyone! It was an incredible hunt. Going 4 for 4 was not easy and we got the last buck on the last night with 1 hour of light left. It is tough hunting and not easy by any means.

To answer a few of the questions...

We didn't really officially score any of the deer, but the widest one was the 3x4 and he is 31" wide. The other 3 are all over 175" with my buck being right around 187" His bases are 7 1/2" around.

Typical cost for a Sonora hunt is around $10K

It's about time you got them posted on here!!

Congrats again - amazing hunt!

HOOK 'EM!

Trix4me, you may be correct. I thought it was a late 50's or early 60's. But I think that arrow emblem on the side means it's a 1960. (But I'm not an expert on this)

If you hunt in Mexico you get to hunt out of a 55 year old antique truck. I wonder if they let you drive it.

You guys know your trucks.

It was a 1960 Ford. But it had a new Fuel Injected GM engine it. It also had all the suspension rebuilt. It was a fun truck to ride around in. They also had a few Toyotas and an old Chevy.

Great experience for anyone. If you have been wanting to do it and is hesitating. Don't!!!

As nice a bunch of Big Bucks as you'd ever want to see. Congrats on that Fine hunt and super hunt report!!

I bump for Big Bucks!! lol
