Looking for info on what all is needed and how all the draws and hunt areas work any info would be appreciated.
im from kentucky and always wanted to hunt mule deer in idaho.

Your best source of info would be the Idaho fish and game website. Definitely plenty of opportunities available for you.

Buy a general deer tag over the counter and hunt almost anywhere in Idaho. Archery hunt? It's a hair tag during archery season (aug 30 - sept 30) unsuccessful with archery same tag is good for rifle general. Look up Idaho fish and game website, find contact info. They will send you a big game regs book for free. Pick a spot and hunt it next year. Not much is needed, just proof of hunter safety course. License is $150 deer tag is $300. You can put in for a draw zone next year but there are way more over the counter general areas to hunt if you don't draw. Application period is in may.
