I know this is not the cool thing to do but I have spent the last 4 weeks in Houston and then In the Keys working to help the flood victims and have not been able to get out and see what the deer are doing. If anyone might be willing to share some information on the deer movement or weather patterns down there id be very thankful..

There is a cold front moving through at the moment. Temperatures in the higher elevations will be well below freezing. There was a little snow/hail on the ground this morning on top, but I doubt it will be enough to start a major migration. The front will be mostly moved on by the opener according to the weatherman. If you've hunted the area before I'd stick to the same spots you've had success in.
