Nevada was my go to tag this year with over 50 percent odds based on last years numbers. Unfortunately for me, it didn't work out. Still have the second draw but with 3 points, that may not be wise use of points.

Idaho still be opening and I plan on applying for deer and elk.

I'm looking a drop camp type hunt up high for mule deer. DIY or semi guided drop camp. I've hunted the Jarbidge, the Gila, the Ruby?s and the Indepence mountains.

Idaho maybe the best option for me and looking for ideas. I'm 35 years old and good backpacking shape.

Expectations for deer are solid 160? 4 points. I do have an Arizona tag still in my pocket from Jan.
