My First Archery Buck!

Well after a week of hunting. I finally filled my tag. Not the biggest that I had seen but the best that I could get on after a week long hunt by myself. Thanks to the guys who helped me get him out and find him. Although he only went 100 yards down hill after the shot. Hope you enjoy!

Congrats on an awesome first buck-I love the color of the velvet!! Sure gets the fever going when you put down your first animal with a bow and to start out with one that nice is a super bonus!!

Thanks all for the responses. This is a Utah buck. Got the antlers injected and getting cape tanned. Going to try and do my own taxidermy. Figured this would be a good one to learn on.

I wouldn't do him myself, Him being my first archery buck, have it done up right just so you don't make any mistakes. Very nice buck should look good on the wall.
