Headed out late next week, for this Region "C" Hunt. Any tips or weather reports for that part of Wyoming?

Thanks

Phil

Been up there twice in the last month. Snow up there last time on the 1st of the month. We took one buck east of 1-25 headed to burgus for the 15th. My son still has to fill his tag. Spotted a couple wall hangers up there. About 8 miles south of Burgess jct. Best take artic gear. OH and leave all the big bucks for us. Good luck buddy

Thanks for the information and if you saw two wall hangers that must mean there is one for each of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I won't be able to get back there until about the 23rd it looks like, so should be some good hunting weather by then (snow!. Sound like you are hunting the Granite Pass, Bruce Mountain area? I've been looking at that as well.

Really excited about the trip, my first time in that part of Wyoming, and should be a wonderful TRIP1

Thanks again and GOOD LUCK!!

Phil

I hate to be the giver of somber news, but I spent a lot of time in that part of the Bighorns over the summer/fall and really didn't see any bucks that got me too terribly excited. The area was loaded with does, fawns, and forked horn bucks but I didn't see one buck that scored over 170. That area must get hammered by rifle hunters because there just weren't many mature bucks. Hopefully you can prove me wrong! If you want to email me, I can give you more details. [email protected]

Hi Jims,

Tried your email address and it came back as undeliverable? Will try again, may have been my error, which is not a surprise! Does it start with an "i" or is that a "j"?

Mine is [email protected] and I do also use MSN and Yahoo Messenger, and my handle for both is pstickman2002 Would love to hear more about your exploring of these areas!

Thanks

Phil

That sounds enticing!! Were most of these in the area south of Burgess? And east of Granite Pass?

Thanks, and GOOD HUNTING!
