Here's a few pictures from the last week of our season in Nevada.
This buck was in one heck of a fight before we killed him. You can see two gore holes in his side that punctured the chest cavity. He also had one in his neck that was four inches deep and punctured his wind pipe.
My hunter got a shot at this buck the night before and missed. We went after him the next day and bumped him around the hill were this guy killed him. He measured 30 1/2"s
I caught this badger crossin the flats and played cuttin horse with him for a few minutes. I don't think he had as much fun as I was havin
I returned to the horses one afternoon and heard this little guy buzzin. When I looked down he was only 12"s from my foot. It was pretty cold so I don't know if he was rattlin or if it was his teeth chatterin. I picked him up and sent him down a hole in the rocks
It's only been a week since the season closed and I'm goin thru some terrible withdrawls. 356 days to go and counting!
