I was at Payson sports today getting a sight for my Austin Halleck. A Ford truck with Arizona plates pulled in with a fresh Muzzle Elk kill from Sascatchewan, Cananda. This bulls Mass wage huge.
The shooter told me he had it SCI scored at 505 . ( Not sure what that would be in BC) and I assume it is a green score.
I could not believe the mass. My hands would only reach 1/2 way around the base. The sword times were covered in foam to protect them. The rack was massive in weight. It was not extremely wide but lots of points and incredible mass.
Hopefully the guys at Payson sports took a picture. I told the fellow at the cash register to check it out. He and a black haired lady cashier went out to check it out. I read her lips and pretty sure she said " Holy Sh*T". The hunter was actually pretty humble but did say he was told it might be pushing a world record. He told me it took 2 shots to bring it down and that he stalked it for 4 days. Maybe someone with connections witih PS could find a photo. Unfortunatley it was raining hard at the time. What is the diff in SCI and BC?

So he made it all the way from Canada to Payson and nobody else has said anything about it? Huh, I don't know about that.

FWIW I called Payson Sports today and they told me it was not a farm bull.

I know... talk is cheap. Would be nice to see a picture though.

He stalked it for 4 days??? If so, then how in the hell could it be a high fenced farm bull?

maybe it took that long to get it close to the road. Anyhow, it could easily be a high fenced farm bull, even in hell.

I'll but the farm it's a farm bull. You can still stock him for four days on a farm(high fence). If it was a real bull it would be on the news or somebody would know alot more than a guy who stopped at Payson sports ect.
