Any idea when the tags will be mailed?

The past few years they have waited until after the antlerless drawing.

I'm guessing so they only print permits off one time.

Probably 3 weeks out.

Don?t know why Utah takes so long. I already got my Nevada Tag and they drew after Utah.

Hunts don't start until August. I'm one of the biggest complainers there is on how long Utah waits to conduct their draw, but having the tag in hand once I know I've drawn is pretty meaningless to me until the hunt starts.

I usually get my deer tag earlier than others. I've never paid attention to when that usually is. Sorry.

Some of us like to hang our LE/OIAL permits on the fridge and smile every time we look at them.

You'll want your SJ tag in hand the day after you draw it the year that happens.
Trust me......LOL.

I drew a sheep tag this year. It ain't legit until it's in my hand, cuz nobody's getting it but me once that happens ?

Lol, thats so true! It feels better in hand than on a computer screen. I like the idea of on the fridge too. Its like as a kid I'd get my baseball cards out to look at them just for fun. Ill pull my tag out of the safe and have a beer while we watch the game together!

Finally received my Utah LE deer tag yesterday (July 22nd).
Was getting a bit concerned, so called them last week. They said all the LE tags which require completion of an orientation course get mailed later than the rest in order to give people time to complete the orientation. Rep said I would have the tag within a week...and he was right.

I don't know about anyone else, but once I knew what the credit card hit was for...the orientation course was completed the same day...well before the draw results were even officially posted. Can't imagine anyone dragging their feet after drawing a LE tag in Utah? Too few and far between!
