I was just curious if anyone has filled their pronghorn tag this year? I saw the one killed on the HAC, nice goat! Good luck to everyone with elk tags this weekend

If anyone has a 2B elk tag, PM me as I can probably point you in the right direction. Now just to find a speed goat. If nothing else, I contributed to the AZ economy...

m1, do they still offer an elk tag with your goat tag? When my buddy had the antelope hunt they let him buy a cow tag for the unit

LAST EDITED ON Sep-08-10 AT 02:52PM (MST)[p]I was fortunate to fill my tag with a nice buck from the Strip. This was my first time hunting pronghorn and my second time in the unit. I scouted 3 weeks before the hunt and saw 10 bucks and 25 or so does. I ended up finding a group with a nice buck on Saturday evening and made a game plan for Sunday morning. I ended up getting the terrain and wind in my favor and found the goats right where I expected. The shot hit home and the buck was down immediately. He's 14" long and will probably go mid to high 70's.

Here is my 2010 archery goat that i was able to take on day 2 of my hunt. It wasnt the big one i wanted but i guess the 10 year wait got the best of me.

First buck is my Dads the next one is mine. It was an awesome hunt lots of fun.
