It's real. Came out of unit 27. Here is a different pic of the same deer. That is what I was told.

Yep, real buck, not a fake. Buck was killed in NM Unit 27. I didn't have permision to post the pic, but since someone else did then.......
Guy that killed it owns one of the ATV shops here in Silver City. Harvested it with a muzzleloader. Word is that it is a pending world record mulie with a muzzleloader. Don't know about that, but I am sure that it will be the NM state record for sure.

Can anyone really confirm this is a unit 27 deer? It just looks like it had to come from somewhere else.

I know for a fact that buck was killed in 27 on private land. I actually hunted that ranch last year. I killed a good buck but not nearly that nice but we saw some giants.

This year has been an exceptional year for horn growth. Remember the double droptine buck that came from Unit 24. And my cousin took a 119" coues with his front loader which will probably be the new state record. A week later a client of mine took a 123" coues deer as well.

My son has a Burro mountain hunt in a couple of weeks I hope we get into some of the bucks we've scouted this year.

Unit 27???? I thought those were only desert muleys in 27?

That thing is huge. Looks like a AZ strip buck.

I saw a cool buck in Lordsburg hardware store, nothing like that though.
