Accessible Antelope hunt

I am looking for an accessible hunt for antelope in southwest Wyoming. Mainly hunting from a truck or a side by side.

I have 10 points but will be splitting them with a family member who has 2 points because he will be doing most of the leg work as im in a wheelchair. I figured 6 points should get us a pretty good hunt.

We can hunt from a hotel or set up camp but cell phone access would be preferred as i run 2 businesses.

Any suggestions would be well appreciated.

Check out top rut.com & see what hunts you could get for 6 points each of you. The sw part/areas can be tough to get without like say 7-8 points each. You may want to see the areas around Laramie/Rawlins too. The WGF Hunting infor maps & areas descriptions are quite good now. They are a big help. Another area is around Casper & west / sw of there. If you get the tags, you'll have to immediately book a motel as they fill up fast after the draws come out. So be ready to book them-- check in advance ! Between top rut.com & Wy GF hunting info you should have a very good idea of areas that will fill the bill., plus prices of the licenses too..' I'd be happy to advise specific areas I would choose if you desire that. Glad to help out.

I would look at unit 81 south of cody. You will be able to see tons of antelope and hunt from a side by side or truck no problem.

Have you done any research into units that you can draw? If you pass that list along, you will be more likely to get responses.

Sorry I don't know the units well enough to give a suggestion about Wheelchair access but hopefully someone here will be able to help. Just the nature of Antelope hunting you should be able to find one and have a successful hunt.
Good luck

Given your disability I would encourage you to use your 10 points to draw the best unit possible. I am sure your family member will understand that you will greatly benefit from utilizing your ten points to obtain a unit that has numbers, quality, and access.

I also have 10 points and will be hunting Wyoming antelope in 2019. I plan to spend an entire week out there and would have no problem committing a couple days to helping you with your hunt. I doubt I will need a full week to find one I like so helping you would extend my hunt too.

I would not want to hear a cell phone ringing the entire time though :)

PM me if you want to talk more about this as an option.

Nice offer Iowan!

Wow, I didn't think i would get much of a response, and that is a heck of an offer Iowan. i'll have to think on it. I do owe this family member as he has shared points with me in the past in other states.

Im gonna check out the odds and top rut.com and gather as much info as i can and then come back with some more questions.

Thanks again everyone!
