Looks good....what did you put on the horns? I like the look of the laquer on the skull......maybe even stain the wood?
 
Elkohunter, I really like your antelope. Its pretty neat how the horns curve way back. Is that an area 10 buck? fatrooster.
 
I put some gloss on the horns. I think it makes them stick out even more. Thanks "Fat"! But he's my lttle bro's. I just did all the work for him. lol. Yes he was shot in 108.

It looks Great, A little tip a friend
of mine showed me, Next time instead of
using gloss, Mix 1/2 Terpentine, and 1/2
30 weight motor oil, brush it on, the horn sucks it in, it looks almost natural,
and you can do it every
couple of years, and it helps keep them
from shrinking as bad.

Awesome mount. Looks great on that plaque like that do you mind me asking what you cut the wood with? Anyways I am a big fan. Thanks for the pictures and post.
 
I cut the bark off with a knife and then cut the log with the chain saw. It was real easy.
