I think that was done by Red Creek outfitters over by Parawon,Ut If that isn't the picture they have another one just about the same. They do put good getting cats, but I understand they had a problem keeping on the right side of the line.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-03-06 AT 11:08PM (MST)[p]WOW! If them pics are real they are some of the coolest cat/hound photo's I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing the pics. I too would also like to the outcome of this event.

I would love to do a hunt like this someday and stick one with an arrow.

Regardless of who took 'em or where they were taken, those are maybe the neatest lion pics I've ever seen, and I've seen a bunch. Those are as good as they ever get!

Those pictures are awesome ! Thanks for posting them , I'd love to hear the out come too...

UPDATE ON THIS PICTURE..........

In the OCT 2006 issue of Outdoor Life on page 14 is a picture of this same one I posted back in 2005. It states that the pictures were taken by a Utah Outfitter by the name of Kurt Hutchings whose hounds cornered this Lion near SMITH MESA for a client. Before the scene got bad with the dogs and cat, the client shot the cougar and end of story.
