If you could hunt midweek that might not be a bad idea. On the weekend with the masses could be ugly.

I had a centroid for the past two years and never, never got comfortable with it. I always felt "off". I still killed an elk a moose and a deer with it in those two years, but never felt confident with it. This year I bought a Bear Agenda 6 and it shoots lights out. Love it.

So we took a little trip to Colorado in mid September for 2.5 days to hunt deer and elk. There were two of us and 4 tags and we came home with 100% success. Here is some video of my archery bull. Not a giant but a super fun hunt, some good footage and we had this bull down within 1.5 hours...

Sad thing is it has taken a real beating the last few years. DWR giving away thousands of cow tags each year will have an effect.

I have not seen an increase in deer. In fact deer numbers have seemed to stay the same and I have seen way less big bucks this year.
