Daughter drew 17b tag. I haven't hunted the unit since the 70's. Area i hunted back then access has been cut off by private property. Any help to where I could scout would be appreciated. Thanks.
I shot this buck at 400yds with a 7mm mag.
He dropped like a head shot quail. I turned for a moment to high five my hunting partner and when I looked back the buck was up and running down the ridge. Shot him at 8:00 am.... no blood trail... only blood and hair where he fell. Another hunter...
For those of you that were curious.... he scored 79 3/8....
Just didn't quite have big enough paddles but like most of you agree... very pretty and kind of unique in the way he hooks so hard.

Drew a rifle antelope tag with max points this year. I'm retired so I have time to scout. I went for 3 days last weekend and saw lots of antelope but only 1 shooter buck.

I do hunt just for the fun of it. Part of the fun though is matching wits with an older smarter animal. I've killed plenty of small deer in my life of hunting. The 180 was just a reference point to determine more of the quality of the animals that may be found. Thanks for the input though.
