Decided not to shoot the EPEK because of the whistle they make. I shoot the grim reaper razortip expandables. Have killed a few with them as have my friends, and have never had any issues with them.

The elk will be getting pushed all over the place on the opener, so I'd get into the middle of a canyon and hope they run by.
