Thank you. I'm actually in the process of giving it a thorough cleaning now and will be sure to clean the throat. I've read online that some rifles shoot better with what I would consider a heavily fouled barrel. My barrel had probably 20 to 30 rounds through it since the last cleaning.

I agree, go hunt it. One of the best units in the state on a year with a ton of moisture. You?d be crazy to turn that tag in, even if it is the late tag.

I have one of the newer models. I think it's the React Trio Pro. Much better than the base model. I would recommend getting the pro version. I would recommend the sight.

I would say we typically hunt above 5,000?, sometimes up to 9,000? depending on what we are hunting. I didn't realize elevation would affect spin stabilization. Does it have to do with air density?

I think the Nosler 48 rifle has a 1-9? twist on a 26? barrel. Do you think that will be enough to stabilize those bullets?

Thanks everyone. I just bought a couple boxes and will try them out. If my rifle likes them, I'll probably stick with them and sell the Nosler Accubonds. If not, I'm sure being 28 Nosler, I won't have a problem selling them and getting some of my money back.
