Good luck in B, I hunt it every year. Can be most frustrating hunt ever and also most rewarding. Takes time to learn and I don't think ever mastered. If you have an area in mind DM and if I have been there I can at least tell you what I know about it.

Like the others have said you wont see lots of deer, B has a lot of deer but also some of the roughest country you will find. There is definitely a learning curve, Not a hunt I would want to try one time as it usually takes years to learn and even then can be tough. Not trying to be negative...

Hunt Blacktails every year cause they are closest and easiest tag I can get. Much tougher than mule deer but we hunt them the same way(glass a lot). Never hunted Cous but I could see the attraction they live in pretty cool looking country!

Has anyone been able to even check there card on file? I get to where it says to enter last name and full order number on receipt, I copy and paste the order number from the email receipt and it tells me only numbers and letters can be used. I take out the few dashes that are in the number and...

I'm sure there will still be thousands that try for tags they cant draw, but I've had people tell me more than ounce there buddy drew a random tag in the main draw so how do you convince people they have no chance here. I like the idea of kids getting tags though, just not sure this is way to do it.

I mainly want to go back and hunt Idaho again because last time I was there herd was in bad shape and residents wanted us to have this system to reduce congestion in units. I highly doubt it has made a difference in deer numbers or hunting pressure but kinda want to see for myself before I say...

Worse system I know of, draw would be better than this funny used to buy two of these tags that didn’t even sell out and now we are down to this. Might be a blessing to not get a tag way things looked last time I hunted there.
