I would like to thank everyone on here that provided information. The Colorado RMBS for hosting the meet and greet, and for their members providing valuable information on where to start my search. Had a son and three grandson's with me. For an S3 ram I'm very happy.

You play the draw game for decades in multiple states and sometimes you win. Now I'm old and really understand how special it is. But the legs and lungs are not what they used to be.

Lucked out and drew S3 2nd season. Planning on attending the meet and greet in July and do a little scouting depending on the snow levels.

The fighting concerns me also. Its not just weapons and tech. Next meeting its hounds and baiting. Memorial weekend is prime for both. Then its mule deer and lions. Swans will be a topic in the spring. Its not something that interests most folks but the snake and lizard meeting last year...

There are a number of posts on this topic. I will answer here. The HAMS weapons restriction was the worse policy roll out I've seen in the 11 years I have been on the RAC and WB. There is enough blame to go around, with the exception of the Tech Committee, they did their job. Let folks know...

I don't have any information regarding enforcement and how it is going. I've been sued once because an acquaintance was involved in a case. So I try to stay in my lane. The best advise I can give is call the SL office and ask for the law enforcement office. Sorry

The change was passed but delayed a year. I'm told there are some points that need to be ironed out, but that they are not big issues. That will be determined over the next year. But at this point it will go any bull but in 2024.

The mentor program is in statue so it is not under the wildlife board. It will take a legislator to sponsor a bill to change it. I'm not great at getting things sponsored at the capitol. With a very limited scope it might have a chance. I will keep my ears open for an opportunity. I suspect...

Let me look into that issue.

I suspect that the limited entry archery hunts will be split in the future. Hunters would decide if they want a rut or pre rut tag. Pros and cons as always. But I think it would put limited entry tags in hunters hands more often if they opted for the pre rut archery tag.
