Mine is extremely supportive - and for that I'm truly grateful but goat hunts are usually in hard country. She has helped me pack out (and usually spot and butcher) multiple elk, deer, 1 bighorn and our first mountain goat (but that goat was 15 years ago this fall... :) She turned 66 yesterday...

I think that generally speaking, western hunting is getting harder and harder to do with any regularity so I'm going to take my hunts where I can find them and enjoy it while I can.

with that many points as a resident, I'd probably look at one of the 3rd season tags in some of the better/lower units. Its a later hunt now and could be pretty cool... either way, good luck!

I considered sharing points with a friend to do a mid-tier unit but at the end of the day I think I'll try for a hunting experience that I can't have here in Colorado.
